Celebrity couple Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo have donated essential supplies to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center in Marikina City and Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMMC) in Manila. The generous amount of medical supply boxes from the couple dedicated the gifts to the hospitals that contain boxes of face masks, face shields, hand soap, and alcohol to be used by the frontliners in the two medical institutions. Mercado, who plays the character of Dr. Maxine in Descendants of the SUN (DOTS) PH , shared on her Facebook page on September 11, 2020, about the good deed along with a heartfelt letter to the medical staff in both hospitals who are risking their lives for the sake of others’ welfare.
